I was born in Northern Caucasus during the period, when there was an outbreak of terror caused by the Chechen War. As a child, I experienced fear that there could be someone gunned breaking into our home. This has made a significant impact on decisions and desires in my life: to stop the war and violence so every family would feel safe at their homes and home countries. Looking for socioeconomically stable future, as a teenager I won a grant that allowed me to study and accommodate myself free of charge in the Czech University. While still a student, during two consecutive summers, I supported myself by working as an AuPair in Spain, which helped me to learn and be more receptive of other cultures and languages. Nowadays, thanks to my life experiences, I consider myself to be a global citizen beyond borders. Which motivated me even to visit Georgia, Russia and Ukraine and better understand the recent impact of war and violence on the people in the Eastern Europe.
